EAGLES VS FALCONS BREAKDOWN (WEEK 8)

The Eagles lost their game against the Chicago/St. Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals earlier this season in embarrassing fashion, however, they did defeat the Baltimore Ravens in glorious comeback fashion in Week 2.  This means that their season record in bird fights is 1-1.  If the Eagles can win this weekend, they would have a bird fight winning record and make a major statement for mightiest bird in the NFL animal kingdom.  For your perusal, I have put together a table to show who has the advantage in Sunday’s beastly showdown…

The Eagles clearly have the advantage in this match-up.  Their sheer size advantage should allow them to run at will on offense (if they actually run the ball) and put tons of pressure on the quarterback on defense.  However, the Falcons could use their incredible speed to exploit the Eagles defense.  In other words, Eagles gonna win!

If there’s any doubt who will win Sunday’s contest, here’s this tidbit from America’s most trusted fact source, Wikipedia…

Game, set, match.

There you have it.  Eagles kill falcons.  Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that, but it’s nice to know that the Temple Owls have the Eagles backs, if needed.

Finally, here’s some bonus clown questions starting with the King of Non-answers, Zach Berman!

The safe money is on Vick, Andy, or Marty.

WRONG! OVER!!

You know it’s the Sixers, he just can’t say it because he writes for the Eagles.

And a fantasy football question for Philly.com’s Matt Mullin.

Uh oh…*cringing*…

Well, because Baby Phan is the most adorablest baby in the known and unknown Universes. *puffing chest out*  That’s why.

Oh, haha! Wait, that doesn’t explain anything!

FLY EAGLES FLY!!  EAGLES KILL FALCONS ALWAYS!!
